An interfaith strategy for the Church: In the next year I or my parish will:

• Arrange a church visit to a place of worship of another faith.
• Read a book (see resources page of the Interfaith Strategy above for ideas).
• Find out what multicultural events are happening near me and join in.
• Volunteer to help teach English as a Second Language.
• Love your neighbour by showing practical concern and kindness to anyone you know of a different faith.
• take any opportunity to shre food with people of other faiths.
• Set up a woman's group (e.g. in Wollaton & Hyson Green).
• Attend a Course
  
  And here are five don'ts!

• Don't argue; it just entrenches everyone's original position.
• Don't be defensive; God doesn't need us to defend him.
• Don't be religious; have fun and be real.
• Don't give up. If you go wrong or feel that you've failed, try again.

Don't assume that you know what someone else believes.
