Retreats

A retreat is a time of extended time of silent prayer and reflection, away from everyday life.  There are retreat houses in every part of the country and in December of each year the Retreat Association (made up of the Retreat Groups of the Anglican, Roman Catholic, Methodist, Quaker, Baptist and United Reformed Church) publishes a journal of Retreats which includes details of more than two hundred houses where people may stay.
