Ex Minster School pupil makes musical come-back

Former Minster pupil Alvin Stardust will be playing live at Nottingham Bluecoat School this weekend and raising funds for young people in the Natal Diocese of South Africa.

Tickets are £10 and the concert on Saturday, May 23rd starts at 7.30pm.

Alvin said: “I was brought up as a Christian, I did as I was told, and I went to St Peter’s Church School in Mansfield then boarded at the Minster.  There were Daily Assemblies, Sunday services in the Minster and we were taught RE...it was a good foundation, but it was Cliff (Richard) that changed my attitude...”

All the proceeds will go to support the “009 Care and Compassion Trip to South Africa and tickets can be bought via email alvinticketsales@bluecoat.nottingham.sch.uk
