Back to Church Sunday 
We would like to encourage you to take part in this year’s Back to Church Sunday Campaign. Last year more than 3,000 churches took part and found it a simple, yet very effective way of generating a culture of invitation amongst their congregation. The really encouraging news is that when churches engage in this project, with planning and prayer, people do come back to church! In 2008 more than 37,000 people invited someone they know to something they love. That's how Christianity has spread over the centuries, and it still works. What's new is this: when churches everywhere unite to invite on one special moment in the year, something really good is added. It feels like one big church with one big welcome. Join us at the Welcome Workshops We hope every church taking part will send representatives, as this will also be an opportunity to collect your Back to Church Packs. The two sessions will be on Wednesday 8th July – one at lunchtime in Southwell (12.30-2pm at Dunham House, Westgate, Southwell NG25 0LR) and the other in the evening in Carlton in Lindrick (7.30-9pm at Carlton in Lindrick Church Centre, Church Lane, Carlton in Lindrick S81 9EG).
