Inspiration & Training to help churches get involved with local schools

Motivate - Inspire churches – members, PCCs, clergy, children & youth workers – to see the importance of getting involved in schools work.  This could be done through invitations to speak at Sunday services, or to PCC’s, Deanery Synods, or to interested groups, maybe Churches Together?

Ideas - Practical – what should/could we be doing? Matching resources we’ve got & schools we’ve got to what we could actually do. How to approach schools.  Creative Church Schools Links, Extended schools.

Training - Equip – how do we deliver the ideas we’ve got? Realistic assessment of possibilities & people. Planning for sustainability.

Resources - In terms of people, money & ideas, how do we keep this going? Sustainability of projects.  Keeping motivation, training & finance going.

Energize - For those who are already doing work in schools, a chance to seek God’s refreshment & the energising of the Holy Spirit. Take time to retreat – to think & pray & seek God for the future.
