NEWS: Comings & Goings

The Revd Andrew John (Andy) Nicolls, currently Assistant Curate Christ Church Higher Bebington, Wirral, in the Diocese of Chester, to be Priest in Charge of St Mary the Virgin & All Souls, Bulwell.  Andy's Licensing by the Bishop of Southwell & Nottingham will take place at St Mary's at 3pm on Saturday 7th June, 2008.

The Revd Glenn Martin, currently House for Duty Associate Priest in the Guilsborough Group of Churches, in the Diocese of Peterborough, to be House for Duty Associate Priest in the South Notts Cluster of Churches, including being Priest in Charge of Sutton Bonington with Normanton on Soar.  Glenn's Licensing by the Bishop of Sherwood will take place at St Michael's Sutton Bonington at 7.30pm on Wednesday 1st October 2008.

The Revd Lillian Heptinstall, currently Assistant Curate at Inham Nook, St Barnabas, will take up the post of Associate Priest in the Parish of Chilwell with Inham Nook, with special responsibility for Inham Nook for a period of 3 years.  The Licensing took place on Saturday 19 April at 3pm.

The Revd George Albert Oswald Jesson, Associate Priest at Inham Nook, St Barnabas in the Diocese of Southwell & Nottingham, has resigned his appointment with effect from 30 April 2008.

The Revd Mark Fraser, currently Assistant Curate at St Paul's, Astley Bridge in the Diocese of Manchester, will take up the post of Priest in Charge at Gamston and Bridgford, St Luke.  The Licensing by Bishop George will take place on Sunday 14 September at the parish church of Gamston, St Luke.

The Revd Alison Fulford, previously Curate at Old Catton in the Diocese of Norwich, will take up the post of Minister at Lenton Abbey, St Barnabas for a period of six months.  The Licensing took place at the Parish Communion on Sunday 6th April.

The Revd David Stevenson, Team Vicar Broadwater, St Mary in the Diocese of Chichester, is to be Priest-in-Charge of Eastwood in the Diocese of Southwell & Nottingham.  The Licensing by the Bishop of Southwell & Nottingham and Installation by the Archdeacon of Newark will take place on Saturday 13 September at 3.30pm in the Parish Church of St Mary, Eastwood.

The Revd Angela Smythe has been appointed to the post of School Chaplain in the Deanery of Mansfield for the Queen Elizabeth II School and the new Samworth Church Academy.  Angela is currently Priest-in-Charge at Sneinton, St Christopher.  The Licensing will take place later in May 2008 and further details will be announced.

The Revd Jacqueline Johnson, Assistant Curate, Torpoint in the Diocese of Truro, is to be Priest-in-Charge of Harworth in the Diocese of Southwell & Nottingham.  The Licensing by the Bishop of Sherwood and the Installation by the Archdeacon of Newark will take place on Sunday 7 September at 3pm in the Parish Church of All Saints, Harworth.
