Moses is the link officer for the Diocese of Natal, and alongside his parish work in Durban he also helps build up the partnership opportunities between the Diocese of Southwell & Nottingham and the Diocese of Natal. This is his second visit to the diocese.
During his three week stay, Moses and his family are based in the parish of Gotham and will spend time visiting a number of parishes and projects across the diocese. On Sunday 6th July he will spend time in Gotham, East Leake, Normanton and Kingston. Then on Monday, 7th July he will spend a day with Area Dean of Worksop, the Revd Sarah Clark, in Carlton in Lindrick in the north of the diocese.
A highlight of his visit will be meeting up with Steve Simmonds, a Church Army Captain, who also coordinates the ‘Street Pastor’ project in Nottingham city centre, on Wednesday 9th July at 2pm. Moses also hopes to get a taste of Nottingham’s night life, when he joins street pastors out in the city on Friday evening ( 11th July).
