BBC’S Songs of Praise From Nottingham


Enthusiastic hymn singers and choirs will be joining in special services being recorded this Saturday (26th March) in the centre of Nottingham for the BBC’s flagship Songs of Praise programme.

The programme-makers are hoping for a good mix of singers from across the city churches, which will feature in two recordings of hymns and worship songs to be filmed at St Nic’s Church, off Maid Marion Way in the centre of Nottingham.

Priest-in-Charge at St Nic’s, the Revd Steve Silvester, said: “We’re looking forward to welcoming the BBC team to St Nic’s and hope the programmes will give an inspiring experience of living worship. We also hope they will be able to share some of the exciting stories of faith from around the city.”
